PokeDoku – The ultimate Pokémon memory challenge!

Are you confident in memorizing the entire Pokédex? With a unique 3×3 grid, each cell is an interesting puzzle that forces you to find the right Pokémon that meets both criteria. Only 9 turns to complete, the rarer the Pokémon, the higher the score! PokeDoku – where Pokémon enthusiasts meet smart strategic challenges!

How To Play PokeDoku

You have to fill in all 9 boxes with the right Pokémon to win the game!

You only have nine guesses to make, so pick carefully!

Except for Master and Fan riddles, there will be at least two correct answers in each box.

You can't change your answer or use the same Pokémon again once you've chosen one.

When the special column aligns with a type, the Pokémon does not have to be that kind; it can be two types, but one of them must be the type in the correct row.

If a certain area is a category, you need to pick a Pokémon that comes from that area.

Mega and GMAX Evolved Pokémon will be located in the same area as their normal form. Your originality score is calculated by adding the percentages in your responses. The numbers show

how many other people got the answer right along with you. The lower the score, the better!

The Main Series Pokémon games are what we use to build our categories.

At midnight EST, new puzzles will be available.

Quick Play

Look at the 3 row labels × 3 column labels (type, region, “evolution stage”, special group…).

Click on an intersection and type/search for a matching Pokémon name.

Avoid reusing an already filled-in Pokémon; consider picking a “strange” one to maximize your score.

Best Tips for Winning

  • Start with easy intersections (e.g. a Type + Region intersection you’re familiar with).
  • Remember the popular “dual-type” Pokémon (Blaziken, Infernape, etc.) to handle dual-type tiles.
  • Keep a few “backup” options for difficult tiles so you don’t waste turns.
