Spotle is a daily Spotify artist guessing game, inspired by Wordle — instead of guessing words, you have to guess the featured artist on Spotify in up to 10 tries.

How to Play Spotle

Start the game by entering the name of the artist you want to guess.

After each guess, you'll get a color hint and a directional arrow for each attribute:

Green: attribute is correct.

Yellow: close to correct (e.g., within a certain range).

Gray: completely wrong.

You have a maximum of 10 guesses.

Attributes provided after each guess

You'll get information about the following attributes, and they'll be highlighted to help you narrow down your guess:

Album release year: down arrow if the mystery artist debuted first, up arrow if later; yellow if the difference is small (around 5 years).

Group size: can be solo or group members.

Listener Rank: arrows indicate higher or lower popularity; yellow if within 50 ranks.

Gender: Solo, Female, Male, or Mixed (if the group is mixed).

Genre: Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Country, R&B, Latin, K-Pop, Jazz, Metal, Electronic, etc.

Nationality: Yellow if same continent.

Also, the more attributes you guess correctly each time, the higher your chances of getting it right — some players shared that they still couldn't guess correctly even after getting multiple green tiles after multiple guesses.
